Passenger and cargo vans from 252 dealers. Minivans for families, work vans for business.
Vans split into two very different categories. Passenger minivans - Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, Chrysler Pacifica - seat 7-8, have sliding doors on both sides, and offer 140+ cubic feet with all seats folded. They're the most practical family vehicle made, and they cost less used than a 3-row SUV with the same passenger capacity. Cargo vans - Ford Transit, RAM ProMaster, Mercedes Sprinter - are work vehicles with 200-400+ cubic feet of enclosed cargo space.
Used minivans are one of the best value plays on 252 dealer lots. An Odyssey with 60,000 miles typically costs $8,000-$12,000 less than a Pilot of the same age and similar mileage - but it seats more people, carries more cargo, and the kids can get in and out through sliding doors without dinging the car next to you. The Chrysler Pacifica is the only minivan with an available plug-in hybrid (32 miles electric-only range). The Toyota Sienna went hybrid-only starting in 2021, averaging 36 MPG.
